¿Cómo se dio el tour con Laura Cox?
¡¡Es increíble!! Laura es una gran amiga mía y una guitarrista tremenda. Cuando mi colega Xavi mencionó la posibilidad me puse muy contento. ¡¡Los fans pueden esperar una noche de BLUESPOWER de alto voltaje!!
¿Qué esperas de esta gira? ¿Y de tus fans en España?
Va a ser muy divertido. España es uno de mis lugares favoritos del planeta para tocar. ¡Espero una gran fiesta, será una noche que ningún fan podrá olvidar!
¿Que verán los fans cuando subas al escenario?
Cada noche de la gira por España va a ser muy especial. ¡Conciertos largos Y CON MUCHO VOLÚMEN! Tengo muchísimas ganas de darlo todo tocando y mostrar el BLUESPOWER alrededor de España.
¿Cuál es tu canción y tu disco favoritos?
Mi tema favorito de todos los tiempos es «Mississippi Queen» de Mountain. Mi disco favorito es «Texas Flood» de Stevie Ray Vaughan.
¿Cuáles son tus mayores influencias a la hora de escribir tus solos?
¡Tengo tantas! Admiro a Eric Clapton, Leslie West, Stevie Ray Vaughan … Cuando me apetecer tocar de manera más alocada me inspiro en Zakk Wylde y Dimebag Darrell.
¿Cómo ves la escena blues actual? ¿Qué artistas pueden sorprendernos este año?
¡Estoy emocionado con el panorama actual! Hay un montón de grandes artistas grabando discos y girando en este mismo momento. Sin duda podremos admirar y dejarnos sorprender por los artistas que girarán conmigo por España: ¡Wolf Jaw y Laura Cox!
¿Eres un artista más “de directo” o te gusta componer tranquilamente en el estudio?
¡Me encantan AMBOS! Pero musical y emocionalmente, mi corazón se queda con el DIRECTO. Conectar con la gente en ese entorno es una parte muy grande de lo que hago. Estar en el estudio y componer también es algo bonito. ¡Los dos tienen un gran significado para mí!

How did the tour with Laura Cox come together?
IT’S INCREDIBLE!! Laura is a great friend of mine and such a great guitarist. When my buddy Xavi brought up the possibility, I was so excited. Fans can expect a full high energy BLUESPOWER night!!
What do you expect from this tour? And the Spanish fans?
It is going to be so much fun. Spain is one of my favorite places in all of the world to play. I expect a total party, it will be a night no fans will ever forget.
What will fans see when you’re on stage?
Every night of my Spanish tour is going to be very special. Long and LOUD shows! I can’t wait to play my ass off and bring the BLUESPOWER across Spain.
What is your favorite song? And your favorite record?
My all-time favorite song is Mississippi Queen by Mountain. My favorite record is Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan.
What are your biggest influences when it comes to playing guitar solos?
I have so many influences! I really admire players like Eric Clapton, Leslie West, Stevie Ray Vaughan. When I want to play crazier I look to the heights of Zakk Wylde and Dimebag Darrell
What is your take on the current blues scene? What artist could surprise us during this year?
I’m excited about the current blues and blues/rock scene. There are tons of great artists out making record and touring now. We can definitely expect to look up to and be surprised by both artists on the tour with me through Spain. Wolf Jaw and Laura Cox!
Are you a «live artist» or do you enjoy the most playing in the studio?
I love BOTH! Musically and emotionally, my heart lies in LIVE playing. Connecting with people in that setting is such a big part of what I do. Being in the studio and creating music is a beautiful thing too. Both sides and very much a meaningful part of what I do.
